Looking for outfits for an amusement park? You’re in the right place!
There’s nothing worse than showing up to a theme park and immediately regretting your outfit choice.
Between standing in line, riding roller coasters, and walking what feels like a marathon by the end of the day, what you wear can genuinely make or break your trip!

Whether you’re headed to Universal Studios, spending the day at Disney World, or exploring one of the local amusement parks near you, having the right outfit matters more than people think.
What to Wear to an Amusement Park
I scoured Amazon high and low to round up the cutest theme park outfit ideas.
Below you’ll find some of my favorite outfit formulas for a fun day at the park. These are comfortable, cute, and built to last from morning to night!
My Go-To Outfit for Amusement Parks
If you want my go-to outfit for amusement parks, it’s this! This isn’t a skirt (I know, I fooled you, didn’t I?) but it’s actually a skort! It’s basically shorts with a skirt sewn right over top so you get all the coverage and comfort of shorts with a cuter look.
I love mine so much I own it in three colors, and the fact that it has actual pockets is the best!
I pair it with this classic blue top (when it’s cooler), but it’s still lightweight for warm days and great for extra sun protection. It’s an easy, no-brainer combo that goes with literally everything. It is also available in a short sleeve and a ruffle tank top.

For shoes, I tend to wear the same pair of Veja sneakers because they are comfortable and cute.
I am also loving these slip-on tennis shoes. There is no break-in period, and somehow they’re still comfortable enough to wear the entire day!
It’s not the flashiest outfit on this list, but it’s the one I reach for every single time.
The Classic Skirt and Sweatshirt Combo
A crisp white skirt paired with a simple sweatshirt (or theme park branded) is comfortable enough for a full day of walking but still looks like you put thought into it!
It’s easy to throw on with a morning chill, cold AC on indoor rides, or a random cloudy afternoon at the amusement park.

It’s little things like a great tumbler and phone charger that make your experience much more enjoyable at the amusement park.
Trending Gingham Shorts with a Classic Tank
Gingham shorts have been everywhere lately! Have you seen them all over social media as I have?
The playful print adds a little personality to your outfit, which is so fun. Pairing them with a classic tank keeps the whole look simple and easy to move in.

It’s a fun way to switch things up if you’re tired of solid colors! I love leaning into the gingham theme with a printed water bottle.
This is the perfect outfit for an especially warm day.
Tennis Dresses for a One and Done Look
A tennis dress is honestly one of the most underrated theme park outfits.
It’s a one-and-done outfit, meaning you don’t have to think about matching a top and bottom. Most come in a stretchy fabric with built-in shorts, so you get the coverage and comfort you need for big rides without ever feeling restricted.
Pair it with comfy sneakers and a small bag to keep your hands free while you’re waiting in line for water rides or grabbing funnel cakes.
Here are a few of the most adorable athletic dresses on Amazon right now (that are just as comfortable as they are cute!)
01.
Scalloped Tennis Dress
This one’s a total showstopper without even trying. The scalloped hem adds just the right amount of detail to keep it from looking too plain!
02.
2-Piece Tennis Dress
The cream colorway feels a little more elevated than your typical bright prints, so it’s a great pick if you want your outfit to photograph well against every backdrop in the park.
03.
Houndstooth Elevated Athletic Dress
This one is great if you want something that stands out a bit from the usual solid color tennis dress.
Actually Comfortable Denim Shorts with Easy Tops
You really can’t go wrong with this classic pairing. Look for a top in a lightweight fabric so you stay cool on a sunny day, and opt for denim shorts with just a bit of give so they don’t get uncomfortable.
This combo is a practical choice for anyone who wants an easy outfit!
04.
Scalloped Denim Shorts
These put a fun twist on your classic denim shorts! They are cute with a theme park tee, too!
Easy Two-Piece Sets
Two-piece sets have become really popular! I love that you can get two items for (normally) the price of one. These are comfy and casual, which makes them perfect for an amusement park.
Here are a few of the top-rated options you can grab right now for your amusement park outfit.
06.
Matching Two-Piece Set
How adorable is this matching green set? Dress it down with a baseball cap or add jewelry for a more elevated look!
07.
Striped Two-Piece Set
The classic stripe print keeps it simple and timeless, so it’s a piece you’ll actually reach for over and over, not just for one park trip.
08.
Casual Top and Pants Set
The more relaxed, breathable pants offer a nice change of pace if you’re not in the mood for shorts or a dress that day.
09.
Drawstring Skort Set
This one’s built for comfort first (but isn’t it still so cute?!). The drawstring waist means you can adjust the fit throughout the day!
