Spring is one of my favorite seasons and incorporating spring colors and decor into my tablescape is an easy way to ring in the warmer weather and all the spring season brings! I will show you how I set up my springtime table with decor and functional pieces.
Since we have an open concept kitchen and living room, our dining room table is to the right of our kitchen island and is a focal point in plain sight from many different areas of the house. So, I love having it set up completely for each season.
Now that the weather has started to warm up, I’ve got my springtime dining room table display ready! You can use this decor for an Easter table, a general spring table setting, or year-round!

How to Simply Decorate a Spring Table
By following these easy decorating tips, you can have a spring inspired tablescape for your next dinner party or Easter brunch in no time! Prioritize a pretty spring time floral centerpiece, add lighting for warmth, and carefully select spring themed plates, chargers, and silverware.

If you want to change up your current dinner table for Easter dinner without starting from scratch, you can make a couple of easy swaps like using different napkins in pastel colors or patterns, mixing up the centerpiece, or getting new placemats.
Choose something neutral for pieces that are harder to store, like chargers and plates, so you can easily style them with other pieces throughout the year! I like the versatility of these Fitz and Floyd dinner plates and the texture of the rattan chargers. I’ll use these for other seasons throughout the year, too.
Let’s walk step by step through the process of this simple spring table. It’s super easy to put together and will instantly make your dining room look better. Here is the best spring table decor idea.
Springtime Dining Table Centerpieces
First up are centerpieces. Of course, what’s a spring tablescape without a spring inspired centerpiece? Even a simple centerpiece spruces things up. The spring color palette is everything! Crisp white flowers, soft pastels like blue and green, and natural elements are where it’s at.
Centerpieces are the immediate eye-draw to any table setup. I’ll probably switch it up a couple of different times over the next few months for variety. For now, this ginger jar was a great starting point.

I repurposed the ginger jar from another area of my home and added my favorite faux flowers from Amazon for this pretty spring centerpiece. It’s the perfect centerpiece, especially for beginners! Fresh flowers are also a great way to bring in spring. You could also use any kind of spring small vases to house your flowers.
Other Spring Centerpiece Ideas
Below are some of my other favorite centerpiece options for a spring table. These can be used on their own or styled with other pieces. You can mix and match, add other elements, or toss some florals in these for a beautiful centerpiece.
I’d use Easter eggs, spring vase fillers, or greenery in the woven bowl. I have and love the white cachepot and use a faux orchid in mine. The Serena & Lily candle holders can be used on your dining table or another piece of furniture as decor.
Plenty of spring table decorations are out there to help you create a gorgeous centerpiece for your pretty table. I love shopping in store at HomeGoods or Hobby Lobby for seasonal decor, but you can also find a great selection online at At Home.
Beaded Dinnerware and Bamboo Silverware
The most essential element of any place setting is of course the functional pieces, the dinnerware and silverware! These white dinner plates are a great base for any setup. You can use them with any theme decor.
Silverware doesn’t have to be boring. Opt for something with a design or a little texture, like this designer inspired bamboo set. Don’t they instantly make things look more spring inspired with the different textures? It’s the little detail that adds interest!

You can find a lot of affordable options for both plates and silverware on Amazon. These can range in price, some people spend a fortune on plates and others don’t prioritize it. I think a good middle ground is perfect. These are also a great item to add to your wedding registry!
Scalloped Placemats and Embroidered Napkins
Next up is adding in those little details like placemats and napkins. This is where you can bring in pretty pops of color like pastel blues and greens for spring themes.
I love these scalloped placemats for a touch of spring. You can’t even tell these are waterproof and work for both indoor and outdoor tables. They are double layered and come in the prettiest baby blue.

Skip the disposable paper napkins and go for embroidered cloth napkins! These are sold as a set of four and are also great for both the indoors and outdoors. Isn’t the pattern pretty on them? The green color is the best!
Ambient Lighting with Wireless Lamps
Instead of using candles for lighting the table, I used a set of cordless lamps and added the cute scallop shades for a fun detail.
I love how practical these lamps are and use them all over my house. They can be used outside too!

If you prefer candles, there are so many beautiful options as well. I would just suggest choosing something to brighten up the space, whether it’s lamps or candles. Even a simple place setting can benefit from something cozy.
Conclusion
I hope this post inspired you to decorate your spring table with the right plates, chargers, and decor. Don’t forget those spring centerpieces this time of year! They are essential to the best springtime table setting.
