I would still like to add molding at the top of the ceiling for my own personal taste, but for the most part, this space is done. I love walking into a finished space, especially when you know what it looked like before.

Luckily, I have a few more spaces in mind that I would like to add wallpaper to this year like my laundry room and entryway so these options might just be coming home to my grandmillennial wallpaper collection soon.

If you think there’s a chance you may sell in a few years, I’d keep it a bit more economical. Since I knew we would be in this home for a while, I felt better about spending more on traditional wallpaper.
Secondly, if you are hiring a professional, then it’s worth getting high-quality paper. They’ll know exactly how to apply it so that it looks perfect. If you DIY, a cheaper peel and stick wallpaper could suit you better. If you end up messing up or are unsatisfied with your work, you can take down the removable wallpaper without having a huge financial loss.
Ideas for Using Up Leftover Wallpaper
You may have some scraps or maybe even some extra rolls of wallpaper. Check the return policy from wherever you purchased the wallpaper, they may let you return unused rolls!
If you have leftover wallpaper scraps, don’t throw them away. You can use them for so many DIY projects. I used one of the scraps as an insert for this acrylic scallop tray. I also plan to use some as a mat for intaglio art.
In my case, I could not return the extra wallpaper so I needed to get creative. I’ve still got a few DIY projects I’ll be using this wallpaper for but I’ve gotten one knocked out. Here are a few ideas you could explore!
